What is Warticon solution and cream?
How does it work?
Warticon is a treatment for skin use, in the form of a cream and a solution, composed of the ingredient podophyllotoxin. The active ingredient of this medicine, which penetrates into the tissue of each wart cell, favoring its reduction and elimination.
The main active ingredient in this solution and cream-based sexual health treatment medication, Podophyllotoxin, is a dividing cell metaphase inhibitor that binds to at least one of the tubulin-binding sites. This union prevents the polymerization of tubulin, a necessary process for the assembly of microtubules. At higher concentrations, podophyllotoxin also inhibits the transport of nucleosides through the cell membrane. It is accepted that the chemotherapeutic action of podophyllotoxin is due to the growth inhibition cell and its ability to invade the tissue of cells infected by the virus.
A drug that is also capable of preventing HPV condyloma from spreading and reproducing in other parts of the body.
This cream/solution helps to cure the symptoms related to genital warts, in addition to achieving their disappearance or fall of the skin. Treatment whose proven effectiveness shows visible results in the first days of starting treatment.
It should be noted that no medicine is capable of curing a virus, Warticon does not kill the Human Papilloma Virus, but only helps to alleviate its symptoms, eliminating the uncomfortable genital warts derived from one of its strains.

Appreciated the quick delivery in time for the xmas holidays.

My basal cell had recurred after surgical removal. Another removal would have resulted in extensive plastic surgery. The Aldara had no visible effect until the second week. By the fifth week, the area looked horrible and I became concerned. Nevertheless, I continued application and by week eight, I was looking in the mirror at new, fresh, pink skin. Wonderful! Based upon my experience, I think it is generally correct to believe that if there is one basal cell area, the entire face is damaged, even though it is not visible. Therefore, I would recommend using the cream only on the limited, visible lesion. Otherwise, the area of lesions will be large and scary.”

The cream worked amazingly! My warts cleared away within 2 weeks of using the cream. The skin where the warts were is now smooth and wart free. However, it was incredibly painful- cream causes severe skin reactions. For me I developed sores and blisters on my vagina after the first week. When I peed it felt like my skin was on fire because it made contact with the blisters. I found I couldn’t sit or walk without being in agony. However I persisted as and by the end of the week it was clear. Some tips ! -aloe vera is your best friend. Apply it as often as you can because it will help with the blisters and irritated skin -when peeing, take a class of cold water and pour it at the same time, or squired bottled water. This really helps with the burning and stinging. Also apply aloe vera after peeing -DONT apply to much cream or leave it on for more than 10 hours. I think lathering the cream on didn’t help the severe reactions I was having”

I wanted the ointment and not the cream. Not sure why the cream now has the same packaging as the ointment and the ointment is no longer available.

Very swift delivery service. Price was a little steep but it was needed in a hurry and waiting for another GP prescription would take too long. Cheers

For Human Papilloma Virus “I’ve been using Aldara for just over 3 weeks now. I had genital and anal warts all over. They were in clusters and stuck together. But just after week 1 I could tell a difference. Now I only have a few left but you can barely see them. I’m going for a check up tomorrow but I think I might need some more just to get rid of the extra marks. However I would definitely recommend this to anyone with genital warts! It’s not a quick fix but you have to be patience with it. It WILL work and if you are experiencing pain, blisters or swelling it means the cream is working as it’s the cells dying to get rid of the wart. So the more pain you’re in the better as bad as it sounds. I went through pain, blisters and itching in the first and second week. Not so much now as they are nearly gone.”

I made a mistake buying this product. I ordered cream whereas I should have ordered ointment. The cream has to be stored in a refrigerator which makes it inconvenient.
